On behalf of the NANA Board of Trustees, I would like to reiterate our thanks for your generous donations in 2016. I also would like to thank our Treasurer, Steve Megerle, for drafting the thank you letters that were mailed and I would also like to thank Annie Megerle and Jennifer Cronk for their assistance with processing the mailing. If you made a donation and did not receive a letter, please let Steve Megerle or me know.
Additionally, I would be remiss if I did not take this opportunity to congratulate NANA and NANA member, Councilman Christopher Smitherman for being recipients of Keep City Beautiful’s Golden Paintbrush and Golden Glove awards. In addition to the plaque that NANA received, NANA also received a monetary award of $500. I would like to thank Emily Harten, Richard Jackson, Bridget McComas and Maura Wolf for preparing the award review package.
Congratulation to our NANA member Linda Thomas who was confirmed by the Cincinnati City Council to serve on the Park Board.
I am pleased to advise that 2017 is the year of engagement for NANA so be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities. We have 3 clean ups scheduled in April, the Party in the Park will be taking place this summer and of course our 4th of July parade. As the weather continues to get warmer, we look forward to more get-togethers with neighbors!
I hope to see you at our next General Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 7 pm at the North Avondale Montessori School Cafetorium. We have great speakers lined up. See you then!
