President’s Message

Dear Neighbors:

I am still smiling from our very successful Labor Day parade and celebration. It was wonderful to see so many neighbors enjoying themselves. I was most pleased to see the smiles on the faces of our youth. For those of you who were able to attend, thanks for coming out. For those of you who were unable to participate this year, we hope to see you at next year’s parade. I would like to thank Jennifer, Cronk, Marybeth Flaspohler, Michelle Baxter, Suzanne Goss and Steve Megerle for organizing this year’s event. Also, I would like to thank the volunteers who helped ensure the event’s success on the day of the event.

Additionally, I am very pleased that Mayor John Cranley and Council President Pro Tem Yvette Simpson will be speakers at NANA’s General Body Meeting this Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 7 pm at the North Avondale Montessori School Cafetorium. Please come out and hear the information that they will be sharing.

Finally, let’s keep the residents who are recovering from the effects of Hurricane Harvey in our thoughts and let’s do the same for those individuals who are dealing with Hurricane Irma. From a weather perspective, these are truly difficult times!

Have a great weekend and see you on Tuesday!!
