I can’t believe we’ve made it to December! What a year!!! As we enter the holiday season, I would like to thank the NANA membership for their support of our amazing organization.
I also need to thank the following individuals for participating on the Reading Road RFP Working Group: Timothy Adams, Kelley Bagayoko, Michael Caporale, Nina Caporale, David Emery, Gerry Kraus, Amy Harten, Sarah Rich Luke Schelly, Ian Smith, Lou Schneider, Tiffani Tribble, Josh Wagoner, Maura Wolf and Jack Wolking
These individuals have been working very hard and you will hear an update from Michael Caporale at our General Body Meeting on Tuesday, December 12th. Additionally, we would like to thank the following individuals for agreeing to serve on the Pedestrian Safety Working Group: Ken Brawner, Michael Caporale, David Emery, Suzanne Gosson, Emily Harten and Zola Stewart. The group’s first meeting with the City of Cincinnati will take place in the very near future.
As both working groups are addressing important NANA issues we would like for these groups to become NANA Ad Hoc Committees so I will be seeking a motion to do so on Tuesday. Additionally, Tiffani Tribble will be seeking General Body approval on NANA’s 2018 NSP funding request at Tuesday’s meeting. Please see Tiffani’s article that discusses the funding request.
Finally, our Guest Speaker at the General Body Meeting will be fellow NANA member and good friend, Councilman Christopher Smitherman, and subsequent to his remarks, we hope you will join us for a holiday social. In addition to our social, the Luminary event will be taking place on December 17th so this be another great opportunity to meet and greet with our neighbors!
It is my sincere hope that you and your families have an amazing, exciting, relaxing and happy holiday season!
