It is hard to believe that November is here already. As a reminder, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 is Election Day. If you have not done so already during early voting, please remember to vote on Tuesday. Also, in honor of election day, we’ve moved NANA’s General Meeting to Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 7 pm. Our Guest Speaker will be Councilman Chris Smitherman.
I would be very remiss if I did not take this opportunity to thank Emily Harten and all the volunteers who participated in the parks clean up on October 15, 2016. (see page 3) Additionally, if you’ve driven up Red Bud Avenue from Mitchell Avenue, you’ve seen the tremendous progress that has been to restore both pillars. All that remains is to put the planters back up on the restored pillars which should be happening soon! We are very pleased and we would like to thank the Pillar Restoration Committee and everyone who donated to this effort. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
Finally, I am pleased to advise in response to Maura Wolf’s request during her tenure as NANA President, the City of Cincinnati has reached out to NANA to assist us with developing our community plan. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated and we look forward to your involvement with this process!
