Dear Neighbors,

Happy summer and sunshine. I am honored and excited to serve as the North Avondale Neighborhood 2018-19 President.

A huge thank you to Tiffani Tribble, our former president, and to all the officials and numerous community liaisons that have worked tirelessly to support NANA this past year. Your contributions are so important and we are grateful.

My vision for our neighborhood this year includes three things: PEOPLE, PASSION, VISION. One of my favorite quotes by Nelson Mandela, “Action without vision is only passing time, vision without action is daydreaming, but vision with action can change the world”.

As a 20 year resident of North Avondale I have met many neighbors, created new and lasting friendships, volunteered in many capacities, raised a family, started businesses, moved once and came back and realized that this is the best neighborhood in Cincinnati. Our community is full of talented and giving individuals that want to see growth, change and transformation. This is our year to shine.

I would like to create a call to action for us to pull together as a team. I am asking and encouraging that everyone come together and take an active part of our community going forward so we can reach our goals and make positive change. As Tiffani said in her last message, “Our diversity is our strength; let’s use it to our advantage.”

My expectations are grand and we will have so much fun along the way. Cheers to a wonderful summer and months ahead.
