Happy Summer Neighbors!

It looks like the springtime rain has finally moved out and the HOT weather is here. It is wonderful to walk through the neighborhood and see so many people out gardening, barbecuing and just sitting on the porch enjoying a cold drink!

One great way to get outside and meet your neighbors this summer is to take part in a Power Hour cleanup. We are organizing informal meet ups and walking the area with grabbers and trash bags to help eliminate litter on our streets. It is a great way to keep North Avondale beautiful and meet new folks. No need to bring anything, as NANA provides all of the supplies. We will try different days and times over the next few weeks so that people can fit it into their schedules. You can even bring the kids! Keep your eye out for Facebook posts announcing date and time.

Speaking of Facebook, have you liked our page yet? Cincinnati Head over so you can stay up to date with all of the great things NANA has in the works for the rest of 2019! Facebook is a quick and easy way to reach the people in our community and we are going to be using it more in the future. Don’t forget to invite your neighbors who may not be involved with NANA…yet!

I hope to see everyone at our July meeting! Until then, have a safe and happy Independence Day!
