With two months since last issue, NANA has a full newsletter showcasing many things going on in and around the neighborhood. Please read and enjoy!
For the NANA fall season, we have the pleasure of hosting Police Chief Blackwell at our October 13th general meeting and Mayor Cranley at the November 10th meeting. They will speak about city priorities and their initiatives that impacts our neighborhood, and we also want to make sure the residents of North Avondale have a forum to bring up suggestions to the top city representatives.
Finally, here is a link (http://citybeat.com/cincinnati/article-33474-that_which_divides_us.html) to an interesting article in City Beat. North Avondale comes out well as the most integrated neighborhood in the city … which is no surprise. North Avondale has many opportunities for improvement, but I think we are the best example of a neighborhood thriving because of all types of diversity.
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend, and I hope to see as many of you as possible at our general meeting Tuesday September 8th!
