Matt Ruehl and Heather Ruehl opened their beautiful home at 992 Marion Avenue for the first annual North Avondale Porch Fest. North Avondale neighbors, friends and families came together on a cool and lovely fall evening to enjoy the music from the Grace Lincoln Trio, Adalia Powell-Boehne, and Maria Carelli. NANA and the Ruehl family sponsored all three musical acts and all the kids’ activities, including the always-favorite bouncy house, ice cream, snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn.
Thank you to everyone who made the festival a success and a special thank you to Dawn Johnson, the chairperson of the social committee and NANA Board member, for her help organizing this special event.
The setup activities started in the afternoon with Matt and Heather, Marla Barone, Maura Wolf and Teresa Harten. Sarah Cornell, Charlene Morse, Vanessa Wong, and Troy and Cindy Robinson watched over the bouncy house and all the kid’s activities throughout the night.
