On April 26th, the North Avondale Neighborhood Association (NANA) partnered with Cincinnati Parks, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, and the Cincinnati ToolBank for a highly successful NA Green Up and Clean Up Day. North Avondale also welcomed Aya Hill of Elevated Wellness for the grand opening celebration of the community greenhouse at the North Avondale Montessori School. This collaborative effort brought together 31 dedicated volunteers, including students from the University of Cincinnati and Walnut Hills High School, who contributed a total of 93 volunteer hours.
Thanks to their hard work—especially in lifting and spreading mulch—the teams beautified six key green spaces across the neighborhood:
Seasongood Square Washington Triangle Marion Triangle Dana Triangle Pamela Smitherman Garden and the entrance to the North Avondale Recreation Center
