A Creative Halloween Gesture from a Young Neighbor

Alan Crutcher, a 14-year-old North Avondale resident and Walnut Hills High School student, completed a community service project through the Contribution Project. For his project, Alan created 3D-printed spiders featuring “NANA” on them, each accompanied by a note encouraging neighbors to get involved.

On Halloween night, Alan and his family handed out the spiders and notes (along with treats) at their home.

We thank Alan for his thoughtfulness and this wonderfully creative way of promoting neighborhood involvement. His generosity and enthusiasm are inspiring, and we’re confident his future will be filled with service and passion for the causes he supports.
