Community Cleanup with the Mattie Legacy Project – Avondale
Join us for Community Cleanup with the Mattie Legacy Project, a volunteer-led neighborhood cleanup in the Avondale area inspired by the legacy of Mattie Bell Kinney.
Mattie Bell Kinney was a community leader whose work centered on public health, civic engagement, and improving the well-being of her community. This event is one way we’re bringing that legacy into present-day action through neighborhood care and community connection.
Volunteers will meet at Avondale Town Center in front of Saturday Morning Vibes Cereal Bar and help with light litter removal along the surrounding route.
