On August 8th, Urban Fast Forward and their consultants shared their initial vision for North Avondale in a Goals and Actions presentation.
This vision centers on:
- Historic preservation/housing development
- Public safety
- Improvements to recreation and greenspaces
- Community engagement
- Diversity and inclusivity

North Avondale Master Plan
Goals and Actions 8.8.24
The NANA Master Plan Steering Committee meets monthly and is currently responding to these draft goals and visions. If you would like to participate, check the calendar and come to a meeting.
The North Avondale master plan team is meeting on the first Thursdays of each month. Anyone with planning or outreach experience would be a great fit for this group. Meetings run monthly. In October, there is a special meeting with the BRT. If you missed their presentation to the general body in March 2023, this is another opportunity to learn about bus rapid transit plans for the Reading Road corridor. Anyone from North Avondale is welcome to attend. Check the event calendar to add to your personal calendar.
