Home sales have slowed a bit in 2025 vs 2024, but the Welcome Committee is still actively welcoming new residents to North Avondale. This year, by the end of May, we will have welcomed 12 new families in 2025. In addition, we have 21 properties on our radar that have recently listed, went pending, have sold but not moved in, or are undergoing renovations. It looks to be a busy Summer!
In 2024, we welcomed 46 new families, and since our inception as a committee in late fall 2022, we have welcomed 128 families. Not only is North Avondale Cincinnati’s best address, we are also the most WELCOMING – or at least we strive to be.
Each new family receives a welcome booklet giving the history of North Avondale and links as to how to get involved and where to find things in the areas surrounding our community, a NANA magnet, a trash and recycling schedule, separate neighborhood directories (if applicable), and a succulent, all delivered with a warm smile and a personal visit!
We operate by having 14 area ambassadors who keep an eye on their part of the neighborhood, so that when a new neighbor moves in, they are literally welcomed by someone just down the street!
