As we bid farewell to 2024, I am filled with gratitude and pride for all that we have accomplished together as a community. This past year has been a testament to the resilience, passion, and commitment that defines North Avondale. Together, we’ve tackled challenges, celebrated successes, and laid the foundation for an even brighter future.
Our journey this year has reminded me of the strength we draw from one another. Whether it was through neighborhood events that brought us closer, initiatives that united us for a common cause, or the quiet acts of kindness that so often go unseen, our collective spirit has been the true driving force behind our progress.
As we look ahead to 2025, I am filled with hope and excitement for what’s to come. We are stepping into a new chapter, one filled with opportunities to innovate, grow, and make an even greater impact. With new systems and resources in place, such as our transition to EccaNova for website management, we are poised to enhance our communication and engagement. This new partnership, along with the addition of an administrative assistant, will help streamline our operations and ensure that we remain connected and informed as a community.
The future of North Avondale is as bright as the vision we hold for it. Together, we will continue to build a neighborhood that values inclusivity, fosters collaboration, and invests in the potential of its residents. Important Dates to Remember
- January 14: A pivotal day as we will vote on the new NSP Clause to be inserted into our bylaws. Your participation is vital—please mark your calendar.
- January 15: I will be undergoing surgery and will be unavailable for several weeks. While I will be unable to attend the February meeting, I plan to stay connected via email and support where I can.
- February 15: Join us for the Task Force Committee Town Hall event at the Community Action Agency from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This will be an essential opportunity to engage and share insights on our future planning initiatives.
