  • Hours: open Monday thru Friday 10 am to 8 pm
  • Weight Room is by reservations 
  • Masks must be worn
  • Senior Fitness Monday, 10:45 to 11:15 $2 per class plus membership
  • Senior Knitting & Social Group Monday, 12:00 to 1:30 membership required
  • Soccer Unites partnership with FCC: 6 to 8 week program; games Tuesday & Thursday Afternoons at the new mini pitch; teaches basic soccer skills and character building; Fall and Spring Sessions
  • Adult Fall Kickball at Oakley ballfields on Tuesdays
  • Staff Changes:
    • Brittany‘s last day at the Center is October 15. She will be going to Hirsch
    • Nialani Robinson will be the new CCD and starts 10/4
    • Matt Brown & Nialani will take over After School Day Camp during the transition

Editor’s Note: Britany came to the North Avondale Recreation Center on 9/24/18 resulting in working here 7 years. She runs a fabulous program and is a delight to work with. Lucky for us she is just moving over to Hirsch, our other Recreation Center in North Avondale!

  • Hours: 10am to 8pm Monday thru Friday
  • After School 2:30-6:00pm – Cost: $62.50/child – accept vouchers for children
  • Spinning classes: Mon. & Wed., 6:15 – 7:00 pm. It is necessary to sign up before class. To register call 751.3393 or go to the front desk.
  • Yoga: Tuesday 6:00pm – call to reserve space.
  • Senior Program: arts & crafts, journaling, walking club, essential oils
  • Program Schedule.
  • Staff ChangesTaylor Singleton will be the new Service Area Coordinator and CCD Brittany Barrett will be joining the Hirsch staff. The move starts October 18th. I am moving to Oakley Rec Cen and Emily Lake is going back to Therapeutic Recreation.

Editor’s Note: Blake started at the North Avondale Recreation Center in the fall of 2011. Then she was over both Hirsch and North Avondale for 3 years and the last 2 years at just at Hirsch which makes 10 years working in our neighborhood! Blake did a great job. She is wonderful and we will miss her! We wish her well.
