So Much Is Happening in New School Montessori (3-6) Classrooms

Counting beads, sounding out words, working with puzzles, threading nuts onto bolts, sewing, writing and painting the world–these students are busy!

In our (3-6) program, Montessori works (activities) change regularly to provide numerous opportunities for students to develop fine motor strength, a deep understanding of math, various degrees of sorting objects and solving problems.

Students not only learn the shape of countries and where they are located on a map, but they also learn about the flora, fauna, exports, customs and culture as well.

Each day, children spend a significant amount of time exploring the outdoors. They learn practical properties of physics by climbing small trees, running in the preprimary woods and using the playground equipment and the sandbox to bring their imaginings to life.

You are invited to learn more about our program at our Open House on October 19, 2025 from 2-4PM. Please stop by North Avondale’s New School Montessori at 3 Burton Woods Lane.
