The North Avondale Neighborhood Association Beautification committee is a group of dedicated gardeners, civic minded neighbors and community loving individuals interested in maintaining North Avondale’s green spaces while learning about sustaining native plants and community areas to keep North Avondale’s outdoor experiences beautiful.
This year we will continue collaboration with Cincinnati Parks and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful to organize quarterly community events offering education, student service hours and neighborhood connections to those who participate.
Take a look at some of the ways we will support the community quarterly throughout the year:
- Winter 2023-Collaboration with Cincinnati Parks for invasive species removal at Avon Woods
- Early spring 2024: Garden clean up and spring Green Up Event across the neighborhood
- Summer 2024: Garden upkeep and education
- Fall 2024: Putting garden spaces to “Bed” and education
