Welcome to the holiday season. The winter weather has arrived and the heat is turned on. I hope that many of you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. We have so much to be thankful for as we move into the holiday season of sharing and giving.
Please come share this holiday season with us! NANA is hosting a holiday party with your friends and neighbors at the community room in the Belvedere condominiums on Tuesday, December 12th from 6pm-8pm. There will be refreshments and light appetizers to share and maybe a surprise or two!
This year’s Luminary may be our biggest yet. The response this year has been overwhelming as longtime and new neighbors alike have joined in to light up North Avondale in a beautiful warm glow. Thank you to the station hosts, street captains, and the tireless efforts of all the volunteers who make this biannual event happen.
December is also a time of giving and we ask all of our friends, families and members to consider North Avondale Neighborhood Association when giving this season. By making a donation and renewing your North Avondale Neighborhood Association membership now you can contribute to the beautification and safety of our community, sustain programs for our local youth and assist in the publication of the newsletter and website update monthly to keep our community informed. Last year we were successful in fundraising over $22,000 in membership dues, donations and grants. Let’s make 2024 even better.
