Every year, the City of Cincinnati asks for community feedback on the proposed budget. As part of that process, the City looks for ways to better engage with the community and broaden outreach. The City of Cincinnati’s Budget & Finance Committee will have three (3) public hearings, to receive public input and discuss Fiscal Year 2025 Operating and Capital Budget. The March 20 hearing will take place at 5:30pm at the North Avondale Recreation Center.
The Office of Budget and Evaluation collaborates with the Department of City Planning and Engagement to further enhance communication and engagement strategies throughout the budget process. This includes educational opportunities and a variety of public meetings. A key facet is public input.
The main goal of budget engagement is to keep the community informed and engaged throughout the process. There are multiple opportunities to participate, including online and in person at public forums. Getting involved is encouraged.
