Thank you for your continued interest in the North Avondale neighborhood plan! We have received hundreds of comments from residents, business owners, and stakeholders that have been guiding the development of the plan. Comments have focused on topics, such as historic preservation, enhancing public safety, fostering an engaged community, improving recreation and greenspace, and advancing a diverse and inclusive neighborhood.
On Thursday, August 8th from 6:30-8 p.m., you are invited to join us in reviewing and developing the goals and action steps to implement the community vision for the future of North Avondale. The meeting will be held in the Community Room of the Avondale Business Center, located at 3635 Reading Rd, Cincinnati OH 45229.
Additionally, members of the NEH-funded Avondale History Project will be on hand to tell you about the project and to add your Avondale history documents to the Avondale Digital Archive. If you have a photograph, letter, report card, business document, or another piece of Avondale history you would like to make available to researchers online, please bring them to the meeting. The Avondale History Project is also collecting oral history interviews, and you will be able to sign up for an interview slot at the meeting.
