Legislative Town Hall on Disability Issues

We would like to invite you to our upcoming Legislative Town Hall event, which will focus on disability-related issues in Southwest Ohio and offer the opportunity for elected officials and constituents to engage in dialogue on this topic. This town hall is part of a statewide series bringing attention to these important issues with Disability Rights Ohio.
The event is on September 17th from 1:00 to 3:30PM at the Price Hill Branch Library, Meeting Room 209, at 970 Purcell Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205, with opening remarks beginning at 1:30PM.
Event Agenda:
1:00PM: Event space is open for attendees to get resources, snacks, and network.
1:30PM: Opening remarks from Independence Alliance and Disability Rights Ohio.
1:45PM: Three disability community member panelists speak on a specific issue that relates to disability.
2:15PM: Elected officials are given an opportunity to make statements/remarks/ask questions in response to what they’ve heard.
2:30PM: The floor is open for constituents to ask questions and start conversations with officials on various topics.
3:30PM: Closing remarks from moderators. Event ends.
