Beautification Mailchimp Newsletter Washington Triangle garden What's Inside

Are you a student looking for community service or volunteering hours? Learn about a new program in North Avondale.

The North Avondale Neighborhood Association (NANA) is excited to provide an opportunity for high school students to accumulate “Community Service Hours” and/or “Volunteering Hours”.

Your volunteering will help us beautify our neighborhood with chemical free sustainable methods. Volunteers will work with an experienced NANA beautification committee member at their flexible hours and will get a certificate of Community Service/Volunteering hours. Megan Rothe, NANA Beautification committee and Ojal Samdaria, student coordinator, will serve as project managers.

The goal is to beautify the Washington/Clinton Springs triangle through natural weed control measures, erosion control, and native plant propagation. Join us in this new opportunity to bring leadership, community building, and service by participating.
