Fall 2026 Neighborhood Volunteer Opportunities – Come and get involved!

- Social Committee volunteers – help plan and run neighborhood events.
- NANA–NAM (North Avondale Montessori School) liaison – help represent NANA at NAM events like “Trunk or Treat” or Ice Cream with the Superintendent, and give direction on issues to tackle when NANA is asked to represent North Avondale during CPS engagement. Ideally someone who lives in the neighborhood, is willing to work with the NANA board, has an education background, and has kids or grandkids at NAM.
- General Body sign team – help put out and take down NANA meeting signs once a month with a small group. Contact Jim Miller at miller.jasb@gmail.com to help once or monthly.
- Beautification Committee gardeners – adopt a garden bed in our NANA green spaces. Beds are open at Dana Triangle, Washington Triangle, Marion Triangle, Dana Traffic Circle, and the Pamela Smitherman Garden, and helpers are welcome at any of them.
