Fall 2026 Neighborhood Volunteer Opportunities – Come and get involved!
To express interest (not commitment), reach out to Reg Crutcher, NANA President, at President@nanacincy.org to learn more. You will be glad you did!
- Social Committee volunteers – help plan and run neighborhood events.
- Administrative assistant (paid, part-time) – help with paperwork, copies, forms, and some office work.
- Microsoft 365 tech support – some board members need help learning the Microsoft platform. We are evaluating companies for this role, but if someone with experience is willing to volunteer, we would take them up in a heartbeat. Could this be you?
- NANA–NAM (North Avondale Montessori School) liaison – help represent NANA at NAM events like “Trunk or Treat” or Ice Cream with the Superintendent, and give direction on issues to tackle when NANA is asked to represent North Avondale during CPS engagement. Ideally someone who lives in the neighborhood, is willing to work with the NANA board, has an education background, and has kids or grandkids at NAM.
- General Body sign team – help put out and take down NANA meeting signs once a month with a small group. Contact Jim Miller at miller.jasb@gmail.com to help once or monthly.
- Beautification Committee gardeners – several public gardens in the neighborhood need your green thumb. Join the small army of volunteers keeping North Avondale beautiful!
- Grant writer – There are numerous grant opportunities available to NANA, but unfortunately, we are leaving money on the table since the board doesn’t have capacity to fill out the applications. Good at writing? Want to help improve your neighborhood? Be your neighborhood grant-writer! (Feel free to use AI to help you get it done too!)
