A group of North Avondale friends and neighbors got together on Saturday evening, August 16 at Bar 29 for a fun night of neighborly camaraderie. We were warmly welcomed by owner and NABA President, Shaquinta Joy-Love and her very personable bartender, KeeKee! The group was treated to Long Island Ice Teas and Lemon Drops – perfect for a warm summer night. In addition, we feasted on chicken wings and breaded mozzarella sticks. The group wrapped up the night by playing “flip the cup” and “beer pong”!
I have driven by Bar 29 for almost 40 years and never went in. I am so glad I did! You should too! Take some friends! Tell them Jolene sent you!
