North Avondale neighbor Amber-Renee Hickson is opening a new vet clinic nearby in Hyde Park. The clinic is almost ready as a Fear Free hospital. The entire hospital is designed to be a stress free space. Exam rooms are set up like living rooms so pets can feel like they are at home, including treats and toys.
There is a cat-only room where no dogs are allowed. They can’t see out and no one can see in which makes the space very private and includes places for them to climb and hide, plus plenty of toys.
All rooms have relaxing pheromone plug ins that release a relaxing scent to make their visit even more fear free without scary exam tables anywhere in the hospital. All of the employees are fear free certified professionals.
