On Sunday April 23, 2023, the Second Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church celebrated 99 years of ministry service in the Cincinnati Tri-State area. The church was founded in 1924 as a prayer group. Six pastors later, the Second Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church is still serving the community under current Pastor Rick L. Hardy, who has pastored for the last ten years.
The congregation is proud to call Avondale home. They broke ground at their current location in Avondale at 934 Marion Avenue in 1972.
