On April 6th, Urban Fast Forward presented their initial analysis of the “Existing Conditions” for the effort to update the North Avondale Community Master Plan. This presentation included detailed summaries of who lives and works in North Avondale. Information on our parks, businesses, churches and other focal points was included.
After the presentation, which can be viewed here, a poster session allowed opportunities to talk to the team of professionals supporting the plan. Comments and sticky notes were attached to the posters. You can access the posters here.
If you were unable to attend the presentation and offer comments, you can bring these materials to the upcoming May 2 meeting. The Master Plan team meets on the first Thursday of the month at the North Avondale Recreation Center at 7:00 pm. The City of Cincinnati’s website provides additional details on the North Avondale Neighborhood Plan, including relevant documents and contact information.
The Master Plan will move forward quickly this spring and summer and will move into the survey phase.
Please come out and help establish our neighborhood priorities for the coming decades.
