Spring is right around the corner and things are heating up for North Avondale! With the return of better weather comes lots of activity in the neighborhood. At this month’s meeting we will be discussing replacement of our aging water mains, updates to our Rec Center and our neighborhood yard sale.
Matthew Smith, an engineer with Cincinnati Waterworks will be in attendance to go over the plans for our water mains. He will expand upon the information we have received from the city as well as answer our questions about the project and the timeline. Daniel Betts, Director of Recreation from CRC, will be attending our meeting to speak with us about our Rec Center and the possibility of adding dog park to the grounds! This would be a great addition to our neighborhood and raise the profile of our Rec Center. There will be some options that CRC wants our input on, so this is another great chance to make your voice heard.
Did you find some great stuff at last year’s neighborhood yard sale ? I sure did, and I met lots of new neighbors in the process. This year we want to make the yard sale even bigger and better. We will be deciding on a date for the sale and talking about all the other details of promotion and participation. Get ready to clean out that basement and get those treasures ready to sell!
We will be discussing all of these things as well as hearing information about the upcoming election as well. I hope to see lots of new faces this month, so invite a neighbor and we’ll see you there!
