Thank you to all the volunteers that came out for NANA’s Green Up Day on Saturday, May 20th. There were thirty-seven volunteers for the litter patrols and to help spread mulch at Seasongood Square Gardens.
A special shout out to the Avondale Youth Council under the guidance of DeNesha Bell and the Student Volunteers organized by Ojal Samdaria.
NANA organized Green Up Day with Cincinnati Parks, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, and the Cincinnati Tool Bank to ensure there were mulch, tools, gloves and t-shirts for all.
The weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed a little fun and a little work together with friends and neighbors. LaRosa’s pizza was steamy hot for everyone to enjoy. NANA also gave away twenty arborvitae and ten red twig dogwood bushes saved from the Reading Road Business District flower pots.
