Have you wondered about the big garden on Clinton Springs? Well, it’s a working urban farm! Eden Urban Gardens, LLC, a USDA Certified Organic Farm, runs this giant garden on Clinton Springs. EUG is a woman-owned by Cincinnati resident April Pandora, who purchases and grows on restored lots in North Avondale, Clinton Springs Ave garden, Avondale, Alaska Ave garden, and a garden in Pleasant Ridge, a variety of produce organic vegetables, fruits, culinary & medicinal herbs, and microgreens. What started in 2016 with 1200sqft, 3 hand tools, and a vision to grow & provide quality organic produce for our city neighbors has grown to a 3 urban field production of 22,000 sq ft in 8 years. Eden Urban Gardens, LLC had no traditional financial backing; it took many years to find urban land, gain tools, and expand. National Organic Practices, permaculture and other regenerative practices are used on all their gardens.

April Pandora, owner and lead urban farmer, has a BS degree in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of the Cincinnati State Sustainable Agriculture Management. She was certified as a Master Health Educator Specialist and worked for many years doing wellness programming for the city. She is a health enthusiast and has used herbs in healing for her own health journey. The urban farm work is done by our farm field crew, which sometimes includes college interns and agricultural classes. You will see us outside in all weather working as you drive by, feel free to beep and wave!
